Priscilla Ellis
In 1988, I graduated from Martinsville High School in Nacogdoches County. I then attended Stephen F. Austin State University and graduated as an Elementary Education Major with emphasis in Bilingual Education.
I have been certified in three states in elementary education, I exercised my math certification in Arkansas. In 2011, I earned my Texas Math Certification for grades 4-8.
I started here at Chapel Hill in July of 2011. This will be my sixth year as the 7th grade math teacher. I am also teaching Introduction to Spanish as a prerequisite for high school Spanish.
Prior to working at Chapel Hill, I served two years at Springhill, Arkansas, as the 7-8 Math and History Teacher.
In Hope, Arkansas, I taught 3rd grade for 3 years at Clinton Primary.
From 1997 to 2006, I taught at Harts Bluff as the ESL and Spanish Teacher.
From 1993 to 1997, I was the spanish teacher for Zwolle Intermediate School District.
I am married to Hal Ellis and we have three children. Emily, a graduate from Chapel Hill, is currently attending the University of Arkansas in Fayettevill, Arkansas. Anna is an eleventh grader and Lilly Mae is a seventh grader at Chapel Hill.
